(1) The water supply must be ample and potable and have adequate pressure and facilities for its distribution in the plant. The water supply must be protected against contamination and pollution.

(2) Hot water at a temperature sufficient to sanitize must be available for sanitation purposes.

(3) Hose connections and water mixing valves or hot water hose connections must be provided at convenient locations throughout the plant for cleaning purposes.

(4) The refuse rooms must be provided with adequate facilities for washing refuse cans and other equipment in the rooms. The rooms, cans, and equipment must be cleaned after each day's use.
