(1) An individual or representative may change once in each election period the designation of the particular hospice from which hospice care will be received. The department will follow Medicare guidelines in administering this provision.

(2) The department adopts and incorporates by reference 42 CFR 418.30, as amended June 5, 2008, which sets forth the Medicare requirements that must be met when another hospice is chosen in an election period.
