(1) To obtain an elementary principal endorsement an applicant must provide verification of:
(a) a minimum of three years of experience as an appropriately licensed and assigned Class 1 or 2 teacher at the elementary level;
(b) a master's degree in educational leadership from an accredited professional educator preparation program as defined in ARM 10.57.102 or a masterꞌs degree related to education;
(c) completion of an accredited professional educator preparation program as defined in ARM 10.57.102 for elementary principals;
(d) completion of three semester credits of college courses in Montana school law, including special education law; and
(e) recommendation for the endorsement from the appropriate official from an accredited professional educator program.
