(1) Whenever a laboratory makes any change in personnel, equipment or procedures that has a material effect on the analysis of analytes , the laboratory must notify the department of that fact within 30 days after making the change. A change in personnel is defined as the loss or replacement of the laboratory supervisor or a situation in which a trained and experienced analyst is no longer available to analyze a particular parameter for which licensure has been granted.

(2) After receiving the notification, the department will place conditions upon the laboratory's license pursuant to ARM 37.12.314.
