23.16.1239 IMPROPER DEAL (1) A card improperly dealt faceup, flashed as it is dealt so a player might know its identity, a joker dealt when the joker is not being used in the game, or a downcard dealt off the table is considered an exposed card. A card exposed by a player is not an exposed card. An exposed card must be replaced. (2) A misdeal shall cause all the cards to be returned to the dealer for a redeal.
